Alumni Achievements

Students of the Luther College Drama department often go on to other drama productions and studies. Here's a sample of some Luther drama alumni active in the drama world:

JAMES OSTIME
James is currently completing his fourth year of theatre studies at the University of Regina. A true thespian while at Luther, he has added many more performances while at the U of R. His achievements include Three Birds Alighting on a Field, etc. James has also taken up playwriting, and provides humourous, yet dramatic one act plays for Luther's one act players.

INGRID NILSON
When Ingrid was at Luther, she was an actress of the first class as a member of the improv team and with roles in the musical and in film class projects. Her grade twelve year at Luther also saw her debut on film, in the Saskatchewan production Falling Angels. Ingrid is now following her dream to become a broadway actress with her leading role in Irma la Duece, a musical produced by Do It With Class young people's theatre company. She is also currently working on the set of RenegadePress.com.

COLIN LEPAGE
After juggling dramatic roles at Luther with countless shows with Do It With Class, Colin is now working with Ingrid on Irma la Duece, and is building his c.v. with roles in hip-hop videos and other film and television roles.

KAITLIN HICKEY
Kaitlin has had many roles in Luther's productions, including the musical and several one act plays. Kaitlin, who is now studying at St. Francis Xavier University, has decided to try her hand at technical theatre with the Antigonich community theatre company. She has finished The Crucible, and has already been hired on to stage manage the next production.

JON KOHLI
Jon was a member of the award-winning technical crews of Luther's dramatic performances and stage managed the musical and the one act play in his grade twelve year. Jon is now properties manager and a member of the stage crew for Irma la Duece and Nine, the musicals being performed in rotation by Do It With Class.
